Any advice? Ran second 10k last Sunday and can barely walk ever since. Pain when walking, but not at other times. Going down stairs particularly painful. Doesn’t hurt when I wiggle my toes or anything. I swelling. No bruising. Nothing tender when pressed. I’m really fed up.

The only heel pain I know about is plantar facciitis, which I think is inflammation of the sheath that runs under the heel. It can feel like stabbing pain. You could just have bruised your heel. I guess best to get it checked, but Im not an expert.

I have slight plantar fasciitis at the mo, so I’m on the IC, stretching your calf muscle helps ease the discomfort. But definitely get it checked out as it’s easier to sort the sooner you start.

Thanks for replying - I don't think it can be that as I don't have any pain when I move my toes, or stand on tip toes. I just want to run, it's soooo frustrating
