Not looking for medical advice on here, but just wondering if the hay fever season effects people and their running routines.
Does anybody do anything differently or have any tricks up their sleeves to beat the dreaded symptoms while running?

I dont know about hay fever, but my chest is very congested at the moment from one of my dogs, who has been clipped but is still moulting like mad.
Wrap around glasses . Choose your route wisely.
Interestingly since virtually omitting diary from my diet I no longer suffer. Please note I am not advocating others do the same, just saying it has helped me.
Watching this thread with interest as I'm keen to get some advice! Since moving to Scotland eight years ago my previously chronic hayfever is massively improved (an unexpected result of escaping from London!) but I've only been running since October so not experienced the exciting combo of running nose and feet yet.
Otrivine is not particularly mentioned for hayfever use I don't think, but I find that helps on top of all the usual stuff, it helps settle my nose down enough that I can function properly.
Me me... I wear sunglasses for every run from now on rain or shine. And take drugs. Vaseline up your nose is supposed to help but looks a bit odd.
Yes it does! Running when it has just rained is nice and helps, but where I live the choice is petrol fumes or birch pollen at the moment. I fill up with phlegm when I’m near trees, and I’m afraid I run with a hanky in my hand to blow my nose, and spit in a most unladylike way ( when there’s no-one around!!). Antihistamines make me sleepy but I am going to try beconase nose spray. Good luck !
