I have just graduated on the C25K and wanted to say hi. Iβm a really slow runner but my slow and steady attitude a has helped me complete a 5k Parkrun for my graduation run and had great results medically. I have T2 diabetes and have brought my numbers down from 77 to 62! Iβm not quite in the 40s I need to be but Iβm running towards them. ππ»ππΌββοΈ
I canβt ever see myself running 10k but then again in February I couldnβt see myself ever running more than 60 seconds but with my βslow and steadyβ mantra...who knows? π
Iβve added a photo of one of my run areas. I wonβt be running it today as Iβm treating myself to a spa and a cream tea. πππ»

Hello and congratulations on your graduation πͺπͺπͺ
And well done too for your medical results, thatβs fab.
Just get into a routine of running three times a week and see where that takes you after a while. You may not want to go any further or faster but you can do anything you want, the running world is your oyster now πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Thatβs a gorgeous photo. Reminds me of the Dark Hedges in Ireland where I want to run one of these days (I donβt live there anymore so I donβt get back often)
