Evening, so for the last 4 or 5 weeks since graduation I’ve been running 3 x 5ks a week, just readfirming thebrunning habit. I wanted to start ju jus 10 k plan but the family holiday this year is in May , just under 6 weeks away and I fancy starting it after that. So as a start amd some prep I ve increased my weekly runs to 6k’s and will do this until after the hol when I’ll start properly .
I ran this morning at about 10am, it was after the school run and the weather was already getting hotter . I’ve ran in snow and rain and wind but never this warm and it was an eye opener , think I’ll stick to dawn patrols or dusk patrols in the height of summer months ( weeks probably coz , England 🤦🏻♂️)
Weather aside , I felt the distance was fine, to be honest I think I could of pushed it to 7k but didn’t want to over do it , i certainly don’t think I could of reached 8 or any further.
