Calf injury not whilst running!!

Hello hurt my calf a couple of days ago pushing off my leg whilst chasing my son in a field! I cannot believe I keep getting injured outside of running ( a chair fell on my foot 2 weeks ago). It's definitely better as doesn't hurt today but how long to leave for recovery? Also is this injury because my muscles are bigger and my ligaments have not caught up ( my partner who is a climber said this may be the case as happens to lots of new climbers) XX

Hope it’s not too serious Michele and you’re running again soon. You’re so close to graduating now! W8R3 for me on Sat. Wish me luck! X
