Woke up this morning ready to get into my running gear to see snow on ground! I haven’t attempted any runs in snow yet so hoping it will be gone later on today so I can go out!
Did 1st run of zen labs 10K app run 10 walk 1 4 times (so 40 mins running) on Saturday managed it and think going to continue with this.
Been running roughly 3-4 times a week for the last 3 weeks got up to about 4K in 30 mins so thought time to try something new. I had been struggling a bit post graduation without structure and also comparing my pace (slow!) but have come to conclusion that I either carry on within my own ability and doing something that works for me or go back to couch. I really don’t want to do later so going to try this app.
I also got a new fit bit for Birthday and found that strava on my iPhone (its a battered one which had encounter with puddle!) had been under-estimating my pace and distance. Don’t get me wrong am still slow but not as slow as I thought I was 7.26 rather than 8.x or 9.x which made me feel a bit better.
On the zen labs app covered 5.3k which I know isn’t a massive distance but it’s actually the longest run I have done it’s a start and it’s progress!
