Just completed week 1 of ju-ju’s bridge to 10k. I loved the shorter run after the two longer runs, it felt great to turn the speed up for the 2.5 km (I did some intervals steady, fast repeated) and I loved it.
Back to the slower steadier run at the weekend! 🏃🏼♀️👍🏻

Have a look at ju-ju’s old posts I found it on there!! I’m not sure it’s a podcast or anything? And it’s structured for a slow build of distance. It’s early days for me and I’m not even sure I want to get 10km but who knows? So far so good though! x
I’m doing 5 k regular but not as motivated as not getting that much quicker as I speed up at end naturally and not enjoying it like I was not sure why x
That’s good! I’ve generally slowed my pace and seem to be enjoying the runs a lot more for it as I’ve taken the pressure of time off myself. (I was trying to keep beating my last time...I’m v competitive!!) the first week is 5km, 5.5 and 2.5km in any order. I’ve defo enjoyed having a plan to follow. x
Yes I’m going to have a go at this. What app do you use to count your distance I use strava but I would prefer not to know times and just take it at a nice slow pace for the longer runs x
We have a rolling programme to work up to 10k. So you are free to join at any time. Here is the link to week 1 with a plan that you can print out if you choose 😎
