Never happened before. I had to start it again and it didn't save the first part of the run. You can see from the steps count that it was nearer 5k (my only other activity today was about 2000 steps brief dog walk). Anyway tis done. Onward to week 4. I did contemplate going out in the cold as the pavements had cleared and were dry, but the wind was so strong I would have been knocked sideways.
Last run week 3 of 10k plan. Was actually 5k... - Bridge to 10K
Last run week 3 of 10k plan. Was actually 5k. My Garmin stopped recording.

Well done. Good job getting a run in today.
Thank you. Would have preferred outside.

Good going. Your average HR is lower than mine is at the start of a run lol. I took the executive decision to delay tonight run until more clement weather. Don't mind the cold or the snow and ice but never found of a bitter wind up me chuff hehe.
Active heart rate drops as you age, while resting heart rate goes up - I think. My resting heart rate is between 53 and 59 bpm, which is outstandingly low for my age and gender (probably due to my inherent low blood pressure), but someone athletic in their twenties would have one in the 40s. My active heart rate is apparently higher than it “should”be. All fascinating stuff 😳
I did the treadmill because of the wind up me chuff (wot???)
