So this was my first run outside since the beast from the east and I chose a new route for variation...however, I only found the hilliest stinkiest route! 🤣 anyhoo, I ran for 35 mins, not sure of the distance though? dodging the dung spreaders on route 🤣😷🤢 xx

Lovely. Did you wash your shoes afterwards? I'm guessing it might be a while before you go that way again!

I once ran through warm knee deep more or less slurry (on a public footpath) A bit unnerving.

It’s taken a while for the smell to leave my nose let alone my trainers! 😬

Oh no...glad I’m not alone! Might have to start taking a gas mask out with me 😷💩🤣

Yes I think that is a good idea! We could frighten all the livestock away then we would be able to run without the smells hee! hee!😂😂

The sight of me running would be enough to frighten off any beast! 😱🤣

A new route sounds good I need to wait for this slush to disappear temperature rising to 4 tomorrow so hopefully soon

It felt good to vary the run but the hills nearly finished me off! Hopefully you’ll be slush free asap! 🤞🏻

That would be me if i could manage the fields which, it being so hilly, are like a mudslide. Being over my ankles in mud and slipping every two yards was enough for me once (actually, come to think of it, it was twice!), so i shall wait for drier weather and just keep running round and round this small town like a hamster on a wheel.

I think I’ll be back on the treadmill too for a bit...once my trainers have dried off 🤣

in reply to Catbee

Ugh, horrible treadmill...

True but it’s definitely serving a purpose and saving me a fortune in trainers!!

I agree - I hate mine but wouldn't have run at all this month without it x
