After a week of no running I went out in the rain with a local running group organised by a friend. Blimey that was hard work inclines included on our route. We ran for 40 mins, 5.5k.

Not sure running with a group is for me 😉

Absolutely pleased to be out, who would have thought I would ever feel like I needed that run!

I've never had the opportunity to run with a group, but suspect it is a whole different can of worms. There is a lot that can be learned from a running group, so I wouldn't give up on it yet. Give it a few more goes before you decide if it is for you or not. I'm always so envious of those that have running groups and park runs available to them. I'll just keep slogging away along my city streets and pathways, the lone wolf that I am.
