Have just entered the Blyth 10k race on April 8th, think it will be a good experience plus hopefully will push me along a bit quicker than normal. Must find time at the weekends to do a couple of park runs before then as well. ππββοΈ

Way to go Chris π Good luck, Iβm sure youβll enjoy the experience π
Iβve got mine on Mar 3rd, Iβm sure my brother will tow me round ππ
Races are great fun. Is there bling involved?
Good luck in the race. I have one booked in for the end of April, and as it's a 4 series affair I was considering booking another one of them for 3 weeks time. Now I have done 10k it kinda feels like I need to do a race, before the form evaporates lol.
Well done Chris - You will likely be quicker than you think on race day with all the other runners - good luck!
Will try to get round in about 1 hour 8 mins but we will see!!!
Ooh well done! What type of course is it? You mentioned it's flat which is no bad thing
I need to get my act together and enrol in the Appia Run (13k) mid-April. I've been dithering because of my knee.
It's odd as there is the competitive 13k, and then the 13k and 4k fun runs. I am unsure as to what the difference is, in a practical sense, between the two 13k races (aside from having a "position" in the published results). I have to have a full medical to enter the competitive race but I am not sure if they require that for the 13k fun run.
Apparently this is the first year that there is bling for all finishers, but I am not sure if that includes the fun runs. If not it will be the decisive issue for me! (superficial I know...).
