7k at lunchtime today. (It was actually a tad longer as I got trapped taking a diversion round some new housing and couldn’t get back onto the footpath because of a locked gate!) It was cold, grey, wet and for most of the way it felt as if I was running into the teeth of a gale.

Hi to everyone who has just signed up to Ju-Ju’s new 10k programme. I’m going to have to start doing the longer runs at weekends because I won’t be able to fit 8k+ into my lunch hour! 10k here we come ...

Nice run, Angela. You have the same problem as me, that being a lack of time!

Well done P.P! 😀😀

Great run Angela, you’re really firing on all cylinders now. You don’t have much more to find in the 8K, it’s in the bag 😊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Thanks for all your encouragement, Ted. Beginning to think that I can do it now and have officially signed up for Ju-Ju's new 10k programme.

Good on you Angela 😊

Going to see my daughter in Brighton tomorrow. Going to do the Hove Prom Parkrun if I can get down there in time!

My long run can wait til Weds 😊

I’m so jealous! I was in Hove yesterday with my daughter and little grandson. There were loads of runners along the prom enjoying the lovely sunshine. Every time I visit I have little one and the pram. One day I will get to run it; lovely sea view and it’s completely flat. I hope the weather is nice tomorrow for you, Ted. Can’t think of a nicer parkrun. Enjoy! x

Looks like pretty much 8k. Well done for running in tough conditions. I think it's amazing when people get out in the tough weather, it shows real grit and strength of spirit :)

Well done especially given the foul weather. I see you are running in my old stomping grounds - I grew up in Ditton!

Hello L.L., (and fellow Kentish Maid?). Does your pen-name mean you're at Langley near Maidstone? I live at West Malling and work at East Malling Research Station, so I'm lucky to have all the lovely footpaths and routes through and round the station to run in my lunchtimes.
