Yes as the title suggests it’s arrived. By that I mean my 60th year on this beautiful planet. It sneaked in overnight by the back door.🤪Our two labs slept through the whole thing 💤 and never warned me !
When I awoke ⏰to the rapturous sound of 📢🎶happy birthday to you🎶being sung to me by my wonderful hubby,I ran (quickly I might add ) into the bathroom to see if I had been gifted with anymore wrinkles😱Ha!.
I’m having a great time so far and it’s not even midday! Was hoping to get out for my first run at 60,but as it’s hammering down here I shall forego that and maybe go on treadmill to do Hiit ? or shall I have a glass of prosecco instead?🤔will let you know on that one.
Cars gone in for its service, wondering do I need to go too! No it’s only a number after all and I feel great😀
Anyhoo! I’ve had some smashing gifts from family and friends. And one of my most amazing gifts off hubby is a birthday experience which is going to a recording studio where I shall sing and record some songs! Yippee looking forward to that. So any song ideas please would be appreciated!
Yes I was thinking about a good ballad maybe a Rod Stewart,Dolly Parton and yes maybe Nina, there is so many great songs So anyway I’m going to make a song list and narrow it down. So excited!😀😀
Happy Birthday, Maggie! Hope you have the loveliest of birthdays. (Welcome to the club and forget about 60 - I 'celebrated' my 61st last Sunday. It was reaching 60 that kick-started me into signing up for c25k last year, which is one of the best things I've done for myself. Just enjoy yourself and remember - it's a whole lot better than the alternative!) x PS: Maggie May by Sir Rod?
