I have finally tried out all the c25k + podcasts . The stepping stones and the speed several times : really liked them and found them very manageable. Yesterday did the stamina podcast for the first time and found that more challenging . I am thinking of carrying on consolidating by doing each podcast once a week as my 3 weekly runs ? Does anyone else do that ? :-)

That sounds like a good idea bsimonuk.. they are good for technique and a good workout. I used the Stepping Stones for ages once I graduated, and it helped me with that toxic ten feeling as it starts so gently.

Happy running.😊 x

I did them all a lot! I still run them as they crop up on my MP3 player. Stamina is my fave. The last five minutes is a toughie! Good practice though. They don’t ‘alf bring your running on 😃👍🏃‍♀️

Stamina and Stepping Stones got me through the last weeks of build up to my HM last year :) I like them. I still get my legs in a muddle to start with, but I get going eventually :D

I've been using Stepping Stones and Stamina for a few weeks now. Took a while to adjust to the starting pace of stepping stones but once I did I felt like I could run all day. I think I know what my comfortable pace is now so I use Spotify running for long runs and just set it to 160 bpm.

I'm going to try the Speed podcast first time tomorrow for a shorter run.

I just re-did the speed podcast this evening again and I enjoyed it also because it is shorter . It was cold ! I am finding that the podcasts are making me realise I am becoming a stronger runner ( feel strange saying it :-))

I am going to look into Spotify and find out how to set the bpm?

Thanks

Hit Browse.

In genres choose Running.

Pick a play list.

a) Start to run. It will pick up your cadence; or

b) hit skip and just play. It will set a bpm which you can adjust up or down.
