It's been a while since I posted on here but everything is getting quite exciting for me this year. I've entered my first 10k race at the end of May and have got a place in the Great North Run! I'm terrified but rather excited.
I've had a look out for some good training plans for both 10k (I'm up to 6km currently) plus one to take me from 10k to half marathon. Can anyone recommend any that have been particularly useful for them?
I'm really excited about all of this and it's hard to imagine I'm where I'm at - this time last year the idea of running down a street was foreign let along preparing for a half marathon!

Lots of us have been following a 10k plan that Ju ju devised with successful results. Its in the pinned posts on this site. It's three different runs per week, simple and effective.
