My intention initially was to go for 7K if I was feeling up to it but decided to err on the side of caution and stick to 6K as my thighs were feeling a little tight.....I’m sticking stringently to Ju-Ju’s plan, nice and steady 🏃
Happy running folks, enjoy your day 😊

I’d previously got up to and inc. 8k so thought I’d go back a couple of weeks. I’m only running 5 times a fortnight....doing 5k on Thurs, 4K Sun then 7k following Weds.
Feeling fine after the run today.
The 5k I do is with a jogging group so a gentle 12mins/ml run.
Got a 10K to do on Mar 3rd so worked out that a 1k weekly increase will get me there 😊
Ok Ted, I wish you every success with your 10k training, bearing in mind it takes a couple of years to develop runners legs it took me over a year before I did a 10k, being not very competitive maybe the reason I just kept doing the 5ks until I was spurred on by my running group..
Nice Triumph Ted, mate had one of those with the bugeye lights, can't remember the model name now though..
I've had quite a few bikes back in the day, having been to The Island a few times in the 90s..😊
Ah yes! That's it! Speed triple.. mate had the mettalic lime green coloured one in the 90s, we named it Kermit...😁
Have been around the island on a Yamaha TRX 850 and later on a VFR, got upto some high speeds on mad Sunday, at one point I nearly panicked when I saw Police parked but needn't have worried as no speed limit, still wonder if you're going to get pulled though..😊
The first time I did it was on a VFR 750FT....brilliant bike, best Honda ever made in my opinion. The fun is chasing the police bikes, they love it! They’ll only pull you if you do something stupid 😊
Great news!! Very well done. You are back on track but very wise to stop. I did 9km today because my left leg became stiff - plus it was an absolute b*gger from start to finish!! I should have stopped at 8k..... wanted to stop at 5!! Good luck with your next biggie.
