What a brilliant day for me to do my run, crisp and sunny....right up my street.
Not a lot to say really, except it went really well....comfort stop at 4mls upset my rhythm for a bit, cold weather has a adverse affect on the old water works these daysπ³
Completed the 5mls feeling good and very pleased with myself! π
When I used to run my 10k route, several decades ago, there were public loos at my half way turn around point. That proved extremely useful on a number of occasions! They're not there now, unfortunately, and have been replaced by one of those Tardis-type superloos, which requires money in order to enter .....
Chiropractor can be very helpful for assisting re sciatica, expensive but has done the job for me over the years, pregnancy, child birth and a major accident on pushbike. I will use again if it occurs due to running. GP too of course. Good luck with it.
Well done, great run! I have 8km to do as well tomorrow, if my leg stops laying up. Slightly nervous about it, but if I can do half as good as you, I'll be chuffed!
I was feeling apprehensive yesterday morning. The way to combat the nerves is to forget the distance and enjoy the run....I took a different route which was a great help.
Good luck tomorrow, look forward to seeing your post ππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Thank you . That's true, I do have a new route planned - it's very long!!! But it does make a difference when you aren't pounding the same old streets. Fingers crossed!
