10k is the magic number Week 3 Run 3 done, every time I doubt myself....

So after a struggle to do 5k a couple of days ago as I battled with asthma I was absolutely determined to do well today.

Conditions not great as I felt I was running into a driving gale for most of the time and also came close to getting stuck in the mud on a couple of occasions.

However once I found my rhythm I was pretty happy jogging along and at the end was very glad to do 7k in just over 49 minutes. Onwards and upwards.

Run happy and run safe everyone. 🏃‍♂️😁

Well done Chris, good job!

I'm going back a couple of weeks so the intention is to do 6K tomorrow. However, if I'm feeling good, I'll continue onto 7K.....can't be having you getting away from me ;)

Good luck Ted, I'm considering repeating each week from here on, will see how I feel when I get to the 7k mark next weekend!!!

I’ve already gone from 7k to 8k Chris, I didn’t find it too bad tbh, just think of it as another 7mins or so more 😊

Thats exactly how I tackle it, I get to 4k (the point where I usually start huffing and puffing) then just run each 7 minute section.

That's amazing. I had to put running on hold due to excessive head lurgey but hope to try the 7k soon. Now i have a target to beat ;)
