Another hard run tonight, woke up feeling the onset of lurgy and had to postpone my morning run until this evening as generally felt too achey. Have had the cold on and off since xmas but I think the lifestyle change of eating healthy, gyming and running is really helping stave it off. So managed the run and glad to put week 2 to bed. Looking forward to the 2 days rest more than ever, then the 5k of wk3 on tuesday. A few months ago I'd definately have been under the duvet all day
Wk2 Complete: Another hard run tonight, woke... - Bridge to 10K
Wk2 Complete
Are you alternating short and long runs? Havent looked at the program as still havent reached 5k (did 4.33 on the dreadmill the other day).
Each week has a short, standard(5k) and longer run. So wk2 is 3,5,6 though the order is upto you. I save the shortie to last.
Thanks. Once ive reachd 5k that sounds like a good plan.
You're making good progress. I'm just behind you on W2R2 now although I keep forgetting the distances to do so have done a 4 and 5km so far.
I think you have a bit more in the reserve tank than me. I may repeat a few weeks if i feel I need to.
That's a pretty aggressive plan you have in your profile.. I do hope you don't lose sight of the fun side of it
