...to go out running the morning after the first body conditioning session I’ve done in about 21/2 years!

I set off intentionally very slowly, having already walked the dog so I was thoroughly warm, and I didn’t feel like I was wading through treacle, like I did the other day

BUT

I never thought I’d see the day when the thing that finally made me give up a run was that my *arms* felt like lead 🤦‍♀️

7k in 1hr & 18mins

Oh no, lesson learnt I guess! At least you got out and had a run rather than turning straight back for home. Hope you feel more spritely soon.

Did a beginners 5k Canicross today - so walk/run - and had the company of my friends’ 4 year old for the last couple of k. She likes to hold hands, which kept me at a respectably slow pace. It was definitely not as hard going as yesterday was. Will do some gentle arm work later then take tomorrow as a proper rest day.
