Pic of new shoes posted on my tablet as that's easiest. I'll post more later on the laptop as it's easier to type on that.
My recurring blister had become a callus π₯ so as soon as possible after getting back from holiday, it was off to the running shop for another gait analysis. I am still pronating significantly, and the guy thought that it was the over-pattern on my Brooks shoes that was causing the problem (I think it was the join between sole and upper) so he felt that a shoe with plain upper would be best. These Nikes felt good so I'll go with them! Never had a pair of Nikes before, I always thought they were quite a narrow fit and I have wide feet, but the guy said they're no narrower than other brands. The colour is a bit bland though.
I'll give them their inaugural run tomorrow, I think, and try to post a bit more later.

Very nice π Are they Pegasus? I have a pair of an older model, hence cheap! π They are the H20 resist one so I've been out on the trail in them as well. I have noticed though that they are narrower than my retired earlier Pegasus which I now walk the dog in. I bought those for my first race π I have been googling to see if I can find a pair of these much earlier ones but to no avail. I do appreciate a wide toe box. Why the heck shoes are getting narrower when feet are getting wider i have no idea π€
The Vomero is comfy as well, more cushioned than the Pegasus, but was dearer so I went with Pegasus. Mo wears them ! ππ
They are Air zoom structure 21 mw (who makes these things up?). Hopefully they will be fine. Quite pricey but a bit cheaper than my Brooks were last year.
