Well, that was a blast. I'd been a bit worried yesterday as I've had a rotten cold but fortunately, it's stayed neck-up, so I was still able to run, albeit with a slightly fuzzy head.
It was both hillier and muddier than I'd expected - but hey, that just adds to the fun, right? I didn't think my husband was going to let me back in the car afterwards, such was the state of my poor shoes.
I don't think I completed it particularly quickly - I reckon I came in about 1:09, which is certainly not a pb - but I ran every step of the way, even the really steep bits, so I'm pretty happy with that.
Next up, the Yorkshire 10 mile. I can hardly wait...π

Well done for getting out there with the cold and running up and down the hills. I had the same issue at the Southampton womens run and coughed my way round lol. I will be looking forward to the women's racing series next year, i thought it was a well organised event. Good luck for your 10 miler!
I was really impressed with the organisation at this one too - and the atmosphere was lovely. I'll definitely sign up for them again in future. I'm lucky not to have a cough (yet) but poor you having to do the Southampton one in that state!
Well done and that's a fab photo π I did one of the WR runs a few years ago and thought it was really well organised but they didn't come back to my area again βΉοΈ
