Please feel free to share your runs here and chat about how it's all going,
Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.
If youre a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy week,
Juju and Realfoodieclub

Hmm, bad start to the week with a cold from the kids now they are back to school. Last week I did my furthest run of 8.6 miles and was due a 6.5 mile on Thursday. My huge blister postponed Thursdays run to Saturday and the cold hit on Friday. So no running for me since last Monday. I have a virtual 10k for September to do still and I have a 10 mile virtual run for October. I am sulking in my snotty state whilst looking hopeful for a 6.5 mile run on Thursday.
Been really enjoying my running lately, lots of variety. Parkruns, hills, intervals, speed work. slow runs, and the odd 10k. I even managed my first sub 30 minute 5k last week, 29.18 - well chuffed!
Did a 12 minute test via Endomondo this morning - 5 mins easy warmup, run like the clappers for 12 minutes, then warm down... Stuck some music on, was a bit ominous that as I started the fast bit I had Radiohead "My Iron Lung" playing... "My brain says I'm receiving pain
, A lack of oxygen, from my life support, My Iron Lung".... however come the end of the 12 minutes I had for the first time managed to break the 2km barrier, a big achievement to me and holds out the distant hope that a sub-30 5K isn't completely out of the question in the future!
