Anyone auto-record their runs?

Ok I forgot to turn my Fitbit on again so another run was not recorded! Driving me nuts because I'm trying to extend my runs a bit with different routes and my landmarks are different now too. Does anyone use a device that auto-records your runs without needing to be switched on and off? Just wondering. 😀

My Fitbit auto-records runs after a fashion. I use Runkeeper for the actual run segment but Fitbit detects a run (including the warm up and down walk, but you can see where the run starts and finishes) I find it interesting to use both (Fitbit is almost invariably unimpressed by my pace and declares it a walk but I know better!)

This is usually. For the last fortnight the app hasn't worked on my iPhone. The only positive is that I am not alone in having problems.

Thats interesting. My Fitbit will auto-record my walks but not my runs. Unless I push the button to record a run which it always calls a workout 😀. Never tried Runkeeper though.

only by accident. i find that google fit is spot on for it. for whatever reason my tomtom runner didnt upload the data but google fit on my phone recorded it and it was spot on for accuracy, including the map data, pace etc.. pretty much the same data as the watch :)
