Haven't posted on here for a while - been poddling along doing 3 x 5k per week with a 10k thrown in every other week or so. I'm about to do my first 10k race (Littlehampton 10k) and feeling very nervous and doubting myself - any advice/tips gratefully received ❤️

You'll be fine as you've done the distance a few times in training. With it being an event the crowds and the support will give you a boost too. Just be careful not to start off too fast but gradually ease yourself into the run, find a runner who's running at your pace and keep pace with them or pick a runner in the distance and gradually reel them in if you're feeling bold.
Most important of all, just enjoy the day and drink in the atmosphere
Just to update you - ran the 10k in a time of 1 hour 6 mins - a PB for me - very happy with that! Thank you for your advice and tips - and the weather was very kind
