Completed my 2nd Wigan 10K yesterday and posted a PB in the process of 1:01:17! Beating my previous best by 2mins.
Didn't think I would manage it after a slight pull on a muscle on the left of my lower back after playing squash on Thursday! Struggled in the first 2k till my endorphin's kicked in then I settled into a good rhythm and enjoyed the run. I'll crack that hour mark soon.
Post race my back decided to pay me back but I can move about but twisting round is a bit sore. So a week off for me from running and plenty of heat therapy via hot water bottles.
