Just go steady! It takes 18-24 months to build running legs so,work on some slow running which builds legs. Have you done Stepping Stones podcasts?

Now training for a full marathon courtesy of C25k programme. Never ran before that!
Taking it steady though is key. Gradually, carefully increasing distance.
