1st Parkrun ever and feeling great

Not my last and I loved it even though I found it tough. I wasn't last and even overtook some ladies wearing jogging club tee shirts and other younger people walking and jogging . Admittedly I was lapped loads but what the heck I didn't care as I kept going. I only started running 2 months ago as a way to address a tough period at work and its been brilliant.

Parkruns are a great way to add something extra to the learning to run 'journey' (sorry for the twee word)

Well done!

I totally agree, Parkruns are brilliant. I ran my 5th this morning. I get really excited waiting for my result to come through...sad, I know!

Good luck with your future runs.

Yes it was exciting waiting for results and then having so much better time by about 10 minutes.
