Hey Floss! Sadly no half or full Dram at the end. That would've been nice though. ๐ First 2 miles were up hill followed by a gorgeous big downhill then it was "undulating" from there. Quite scenic in the main although I'm not sure I actually noticed much of it. Lol xx
You must have known I was talking about you lol! I know you are very active at Kirkcaldy park run and you were being praised for your fantastic encouragement as tail runner on Saturday there
My sister-in-law is trying to get back into things and you were her much needed support to keep going (I saw you in the pr photos).
I am SO glad you've gone on to the HM distance, I'm still shuffling 10k's tops but my niece is doing the Scottish half in September so I'll see how she finds it first!
Whoop woop! ๐๐ช๐ ๐โโ๏ธWell done Noaky! And that time is great, looking good there, you're in the HM gang now, well done in the heat too, no easy feat.....
Hi Noaky good to hear how you are getting on. HM - wow that is fantastic very well done! Really good time too (i don't think i could keep going for that long!) Great photo looking good ๐ question: are you wearing a hydration pack?
Hiya. Thank you. As I said there was walking involved. Lol.
Yes its a cheapy from Amazon & I was using the bladder from my Camelback. The plus side is there are pockets for phones, tissues etc. The downside is you probably end up carrying more than you need! I hate carrying bottles of water & prefer to sip when I want rather than wait for the water stations ๐
Here's the info:

Thank you very much for posting the link. Looks very interesting....and something I may well invest in (ha, ha pun not intended!). The two events I took part in this year both gave out bottles of water and most people, including me, only took a few sips (which wasn't enough) and then threw them on the ground - such a waste. It would be really good to have space for phone, keys etc. thanks again
