It was slow and it was gentle and it was a long way off from where I was, but today I tested my back and leg with a gentle run/walk/run kind of thing! Still recovering from damaged nerves after a nasty bout of sciatica but this afternoon I couldn't resist seeing how my leg felt on a short test run. Still a little on the weak side, so not ready for much just yet but definately much improved on my last Jogette a couple of weeks ago. So, now I am smiling 😀 and hopeful that the summer will see me slowly improving and getting back out there, building back up to the longer runs that I love in the autumn hopefully. I will take it carefully because it is being back out there that matters - not speed or distance (for a while😉) Fingers crossed that all feels well tomorrow.🙂

I think it will be slow, short and steady for a little while yet, but I was comfortable and my leg is getting stronger all the time. How are you Oldfloss?x

Yay! that is so great to read. You've turned the corner, and as long as you're continuing to be gentle to yourself you WILL be back and get to do the runs you love.

very happy for you Sandraj39 :)

Thanks Tomas - it was SO hard not running! I have no choice but to go gently at the moment but as long as the movement is forward and I get back to my running, that is all that matters!🙂

Hi Sandra - really sorry to read that you've had a rough time of injury and illness recently. Brilliant that you are recovering though - take those gentle runs very gently indeed for now. x
