Giving this a go, having quit at week 2 a few months ago. Today was my first attempt and it was actually a great run! Instead of running 4x10 mins with 1 minute walks, I managed to run the whole thing non stop, just slowing down slightly during the walk sections. Having found previously I didn't want to start running again once I'd stopped! It felt good and I ran 4 miles in 43 minutes. It helped a lot using a running playlist of 160 bpm songs on Spotify on my husbands phone. Everyone tells me increasing my distance will improve my Parkrun time, so we'll see.

Which week of Couch to 5K were you doing? 4 x 10 mins??
It would be week 1 of the bridge to 10k, the Sam Murphy one has 4 X 10 minutes in week 1.

Hi ladyharvills. I started this run this morning and like you I really don't like to stop in between,each 10mins. I will try to run for 40mins slowing down at various stages instead of walking. I think that is a good idea.one question was your 5 warm up and cool down incorporated with your time or was the time soley for you runs.😄😄
