Wow, I didn't want to put this on the C25k but boy do you lose your running muscles fast, even when walking. I have kept my weight steady just 2lb increase but I suspect the weight gain is higher when you take the loss of muscle into consideration. I have wobbly legs😫😫😫😫😳😳😳. Not had those for a couple of years. Hopefully 2 weeks until I start again.
It comes back as fast as it goes I think. I had a tough winter with various bugs and asthma issues, I realise a different scale of issues to you but a few months back into things and I'm running better than ever. So just stick with the plan RFC. You know that keeping to walking and making sure you ease back in carefully is the right thing, it will definitely all come back
Yeah, just back from my first run of this week. Stepping Stones successfully completed.😊
I haven’t run much for quite a while because of my frozen shoulder issue, but have been doing lots of walking
Surprisingly my breathing and legs were fine today...stamina intact so to speak, but will try again Wednesday to see if I can do better. It was a hot, sunny run though but I seized the moment...😄xx
A frozen shoulder is awful, Jan - I dislocated mine a couple of years ago and now the other one is either freezing or I have an impingement, they're not quite sure which. It's miserable Hope yours is better now.
Well, thats run 2 completed. Stepping Stones again. I'm annoyed because even though I ran with a cramp in my right calf for about 3/4 of the run I covered more ground than Monday (just a tad) so thought I must have improved..but my Strava stopped recording so didnt get the stats.😐
But thats 2 30 minute runs now so pleased as a prancing pony..😄
