Today I finally got round to sending a piece to Parkrun UK thinking they might perhaps include it in their weekly newsletter. Within minutes they had posted it on their Facebook page, the link is below. Please take a look. Within 1hour 500 people had commented/ liked.

Please do think about putting your name on the organ donation list if you have not already done so. If you do, please make sure your family are aware of your wishes, as they must agree to the donation at the point it becomes an opportunity.

Parkrun UK have also asked my daughter to contribute a full story to heighten awareness of Organ Donation. She is delighted to do so.

Thank you for sharing this, what an excellent story, great to hear :) wishing your daughter a full return to her previous fitness, and for her to achieve anything she sets her mind to. Isn't the parkrun community amazing too :)

Thanks Ruth. She has lived with poor kidney function since she was 10yrs old, but has always been tenacious and tried always not to allow it to get in the way. Now she has good kidney function there looks to be no stopping her!
