Been putting in the km's this Easter weekend and managed to secure a PB at the Parkrun at Lyme Park and did it in 32:27 which I'm really chuffed at. Starting to see the benefits of all the running I've been doing lately.
Parkrun PB at Lyme!: Been putting in the km's... - Bridge to 10K
Parkrun PB at Lyme!

Her's a challenge for you now that you have a new PB - run the next say 4 parkruns at a pace around 30 seconds slower than your PB - every Saturday . So, in your case, say 32:00 minutes. I like to think that we need to consolidate and strengthen for a while before we make any further faster/longer attempts
Nice idea Bazza quite like the idea of a consolidation period to confirm the PB wasn't a fluke and being a hilly course probably wise to do so.
I remember when I first ran this course in Oct it completely shattered me in the last 1500m I had to walk part of the last section and my heart rate was pushing 190!
I was more aware of my effort and was conscious to slow my pace down on the down hill bits to recover so it was a good exercise in that regard as I tend to push too hard sometimes.
Congratulations on the PB! I found my 5k speed naturally increased after running longer distances too, so many benefits
