My PBs

A year after getting off the couch and I've been thinking about where I am today,

I run 3 or 4 times a week for between 5 and 10k

I'm 2.5 stone lighter and 3 dress sizes smaller

My PB for 5k is 30.46 (I will break 30 one day...)

My PB for 10k is 1.07.08 ( for my only 10k race so far)

But by far my best 'PB' is the joy I feel every time I get out there.

The picture is me by the stream where I finish my cool down. Today I did some stretches for the first time, thanks to advice from a few of you!

Love this community and love running xx

Stream: I'd just want to wade in....

You've got running very well integrated into your life, with a realistic set of goals. Fantastic.

Great post. You've made some great and lasting changes to your life (and waistline) I'm sure you'll crack that elusive 30minutes 5k very soon :)

Great to hear. It's a dream realised isn't it, and it's within reach of normal folks 🙂 I only wish I'd heard of C25k years ago

Being so much lighter makes our running so much easier ☺️ Although I have managed to put three pounds back on 😩

Yes, I wish I'd found running sooner, but it's great to feel it's never too late. Im sure you'll shake the 3 pounds 😊 I'm now pushing in to lose another stone and I'll go off like a rocket!!!

Good for you. Being in another stone lighter bracket sure puts a spring in your step and spurs you on as it's like batting downhill. I felt dead springy once I'd ditched the lard
