Would have gone for a run this morning but I felt rather sulky due to issues at work and so had a lie in instead! Now I am relaxing after dinner and planning what should be a 5km run. Thing is, I have extra time this evening, maybe I will go a little further?? Does your mood ever stop you from running?

My mood has prevented me from going out after which I kicked myself. We have been having a few issues with kids and school which have fuelled my frustration with the system. My first 10k came from my anger/frustration and bl**dy determination that no one was going to stop me until I was ready. It worked for me that day. I find emotional moods ie teary are not ones I can run with.

On the contrary, getting out there when I am fuming at something or someone has resulted in some of my best runs as well as taking my mind off things. Maybe that little bit of extra adrenaline helps.
It takes real effort to get out of the door when I'm feeling down which is ridiculous coz I know it will lift my mood. Moods are just another name for gremlins I guess.
