Wimped Out!

Following 9+km runs on both Monday and Tuesday I enjoyed a rest day yesterday. We've come through to the East Neuk of Fife for a couple of days and I was planning to do my first ever run on a coastal path today. I was amazed at how much I was looking forward to it. Me? Looking forward to a run? Who am I and what have I done with AnneDroid?

Anyway this morning I woke to the sound of strong wind - not, on this occasion, produced by Him Indoors. 23 mph winds as it turned out. So I've contented myself with another day of doggy-walking. It's bracing! Hoping for coastal path running tomorrow though. I hope to run to the next village and MAYBE the one after that. :)

I packed for our wee break in a hurry on Tuesday night. It turns out that I only brought two pairs of shoes - my two pairs of running shoes! So I'm currently in a nice coffee shop wearing what I've been calling my dress trainers. Honestly, what has happened to me? :)
