I finished the c25k about a year go. Now mostly run 6 - 7k 3 times a week. Got ambitious last year and did the Great South Run, 10 miles, in 1 hr 53. I was utterly knackered at the end. I need to build back up to 10k weekly runs.
Saying HI: I finished the c25k about a year go... - Bridge to 10K
Saying HI

Hi and welcome to the forum! 🙂 I also did the Great South Run last year - what a great race and amazing atmosphere! Think I might do it again this year. I am also hoping to do my first Half Marathon this year 😮! Good luck with getting those weekly 10ks back. I think 10k is a great distance and perfect for a longer weeekend run.🙂

I haven't reached the ten mile mark yet, but I can believe you when you say you were knackered (mfam quakes in her boots at the looming prospect of 14k on her Asics plan). If you had the willpower to manage that, then building back up to 10k will be straightforward I think.

I am sure you will manage 10k without problems, especially if you are doing 6/7k three times a week, that is good going.

Hi sprior, welcome to the forum. I agree with Sue, if you're doing 6-7 km 3 times a week, then getting up to 10 will be a plesant experience
