One for Curlygurly.....

We've been discussing some trails recently and here's a pic of my run this morning - lovely morning for a run here. Curlygurly2 this is another one, a regular of ours out to the village of Bourn via Caldecott all bridleway, apart from crossing one village road, it can be a 10k out and back.

The pic is on the way back near the perimeter of the airfield - didn't quite get the low misty sun, nevermind!

Hope you'll be joining me soon πŸ€—

Thanks for sharing that, feeling inspired to go for a long trail run on Saturday now. Have been sticking to town but watch out wildlife, here I come!!

Thanks Joolie, I'm very lucky, got several trails near me and good road routes with decent paths too. I'm always amazed that there's almost no one about!

Came across a crazy dog this morning, it was gorgeous, a small bundle of soft furry energy that came at me like a train, only six months old, legs going like the clappers, but didn't jump at me at all, just super happy!

Enjoy your trail run

Lovely photo - the epitome of the British Countryside. I half expect to see Constable lurking around the tree with his brush and easel :)

Thanks John, sometimes it's good to just stand and stare. Reminds me of that poem, 'what good this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.....' something like that anyway...

Running is so good for the soul.....

Aww Madge, I really wanna come and run there! I will, I promise! I'm struggling at the moment, every run feels so hard, and sloooowwww, I wouldn't want to slow you down, but I will come soon. I'm taking a few days break, going to try and shift 3 KG that made themselves at home on my belly, no idea where from lol! Hopefully that should do the trick..

Ha ha, I lost quite a bit with that virus, and didn't want to lose any more, so started scoffing biscuits to keep my weight up - kept it up a bit too well! A few people I've spoken to say even a small amount of weight like that can impact on your running, so off it goes before it gets settled and happy! I'm taking a few days off from running too, to see if a rest might help, and I can't diet while running, I just eat and eat...
