Beautiful quiet place with LOTS of history. A place which has gone from being HELL ON EARTH to PARADISE ON EARTH! One roundabout on the roads - no traffic lights or street lights - cows have right of way everywhere , and they are everywhere!!. :)

Got in 4x30 minute easy runs - the island is basically the top of an oceanic extinct volcano, so if I ran for more than 15 minutes in any direction from our hotel , I would start going down( to the water) , which would mean that to get home I would have to come back up!! :)

Off to parkrun tomorrow - for parkrun number 78!! I am now officially 70 - so have moved up an age group. Don't know whether that is good or not?? :)

AAH, that looks lovely Bazza, sounds like the perfect place to me :) Congratulations on reaching 70, i guess you will get a great result for your age category and age grading so its all good and you are wearing well :)

It is good, now you don't have to compare yourself with those 60-year old youngsters. 😆
