He is FANTASTIC, OldFloss! So gloriously, grossly, fastfoodishly (-I know that word doesn't exist... YET-) GARY! Love the camel-toe effect of the Y-fronts, n'all. And the string vest is one of his favourites at this time of year, he puts it over his head every time I pull my trainers out and tries to destabilise me by pretending that he's doing a hold-up at Dรฉcathlon.
You are a very gifted lady in all things artistic. I will now imagine him waddling along behind me on my runs. He's now scratching his bum and complaining that everyone knows what he looks like, so he won't be able to scare anyone anymore.
I have had to fit him in between hospital visits with Little Mum to be... and I have to say, he was muscling in on me... picking at his nose and tossing back his greasy hair.. saying.. " You haven't got time for this and you can't draw anyway!!! "
Fortunately I knew what to expect.. little twerp! "I have my own gremlins thank you very much", I told him!
Yes, Gary.. we all know you know and we will be watching for your family and friends too! x
Just about to step out of the door. Excited to be in my running gear...it still fits (gremlin no 1) can feel my foot already (gremlin no 2) you'll never do 30 mins withou stopping.. (gremlin no 3) La la la la ....
We actually met a guy in France, a few years ago whilst we were touring a Chateau in the Dordogne and he was dressed and looked exactly like Rab C nesbitt.. except he was French... totally surreal. Maybe it was Gary !!!
Thanks you.. I think mfamilias 's posts are so funny.. there are so many talented folk on here and the best bit is how we are able to share and make each other smile.. . even when things are tough x
LMTB and lovely husband have just called in and small one was really jumping around.. maybe a little runner in the making!
Being forced to stay home and watch TV is very gremlin's dream. He does however tend to pull out his favourite videos, such as "Mfam's Monster Stitch 5K from Civilisation", "Overtaken by Human Coyote in Official Race", or "Is my Bum too Big in This - the Heartbreaking Tale of Midlife Lycra Angst" then puts the volume up really loud so that I can hear it.
She writes excellent posts, motivating and for many of us, who are trying to move forward on our running journey, inspiring. ( Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, Gary) !!!
But, as well as that her posts are so astute and incredibly funny...long may it continue
Love it. It's a great drawing, so full of character, now when I procrastinate about a run that's what I'll see, it'll definitely help me get out the door. Thanks to you both.
