I decided that sore area on the ball of my left foot needed some attention. Now I have my new running shoes I realised it wasn't just going to go away.

Went to a foot clinic and was told I have a very healthy varrucca....😯and treatment has started. SO I am on the Injury footstool for a few days while things settle.

Still watching how everyone is doing..keep going all.😊x

How annoying, but at least it's something that's fixable 😊

Oh dear, sorry to hear that! Our feet can be slow to heal, being the farthest point from our heart, according to the nurse who dealt with my son's long-standing one. She recommended increasing consumption of foods rich in vitamin b. There are lots of them so you will be spoilt for choice

Take care, and I hope you will soon be back to running ☺

What treatment are they using? The blessed things go away eventually but it can be years and that's no good if they are boring their way into the sole of your foot! We were told duct tape (starve it of oxygen) but couldn't get it to stay on.

She took a scalpel to it and took quite a wedge off... then zapped it with salactyic acid paste, silver nitrate and monochloracetic acid (crystals)...

I'm to go back in 4 weeks... but I will be running before that hopefully.

Now I know what the problem is not so bothered if it takes a while to clear up.

Thanks everyone for your sympathy. Just mentioning it as I won't be running for a bit.x
