I know I have read about icing legs for recovery but the thought of that is pretty horrible to me. I prefer recovering my legs with the electric blanket on high or even a blanket on my legs like an old lady. How about you, does cold work and how?

I think icing is more for injury than just recovery after a long run, it brings down swelling and inflammation. I like a hot bath after my runs.

I love ICE!!! After a long run I will have a short soak in a bath with Epsom or Magnesium salts. Any niggle...loads of ice! 🙂
