ERm, still not done one yet. Prevaricating on this one as I think it will be very hard. Mind you, you train for it, chopping the distance into little pieces as for the half.
My mate has done it four times and she says it was the best time of her life. Ju-Ju has done it and our TT is in the process of doing the Berlin Marathon, and has written quite a few posts about the preparation it takes. That's on the threads Iannoda has just referred to.

I would say go for it... I have completed 2 marathons now and have been running for 3 and a half years. Its a fabulous experience and well worth the hard work. If you arent already do join us on the race support section and you may pic up some more help there:
