I had to stop at a lot of traffic lights - I was running around the streets of Perth - and every time I came to a crossing it seemed to be red.
So, because I felt bad about all the stops I had got to have I did a bit of extra running at the end and so, as they say in Pride and Prejudice, "I am all astonishment" at covering 5.8miles. Me! Actual me! For a long time I thought half a kilometre was way too much ever to hope for...
Anyway, the reason I had all the fuel left in my tank for the extra run was obviously the stops at the traffic lights. So, I'm thinking, next time I'm out in woodland somewhere I'll just stop at random trees and pretend they're traffic lights. Sorted.

Oh I love traffic lights too ! Theres nowt better than seeing those lights go to green so you can stop and have a breather for a coupla minutes . Theyre a Godsend at times :- xxx
Ha ha, me too! Lots of people like walk breaks, not me, my legs go weird - I do like a little stop though! Take a photo of those trees then you can say that's why you stopped! My FaceBook friends are probably sick of the same view from the top of one of the hills I go up.
