Well done Ian, that's a great time too! The beauty of where you are now and you can run 10K means you can mix up your runs however you want and vary it from week to week. You could do hills, intervals, sprints, faster shorter runs, slower longer runs, road, trail, blah blah.

Your plan sounds a good one. When I first got to 10K I did 2X 5K runs and 1x10K once a week for a while but then mixed things up to keep it all interesting. I love 10K and think it's the best distance as there's lots of time to think and ponder 😊

Whatever you do, enjoy your running.

Two times 5k and a weekend 10 to 15k is my basic running regime. Like Celtic Royalty above, I love 10k........it is the perfect distance.

Great time Ian! I agree with the replies above and my pattern is pretty much the same as Irishprincess. Have increased my distances a little now as I am training for a 10 mile race in October, but my usual is two x 5k and a nice long run at the weekend! I am also a huge fan of 10k - it is a distance you can really settle in to! Happy running!πŸ™‚πŸƒπŸ»
