My calf muscles still a little twingy when I went out on Monday and did a 5k but on Wednesday decided to go out and see and although I only did 3k, it was all running without having to stop which is good enough. Now having a couple of days off because it is my 10k event on Sunday. It is Race for Life so even if I was slow or had to stop and walk it would be ok but my plan is a nice steady run all the way. I think some of my problem is I have felt a bit low and my confidence has been knocked. I was successful in my quest for a new job though, so hoping things are looking more positive in all areas.
Thank you all, you have been amazing. Julie xx

Congratulations on your new job Julie - hopefully that will help boost your confidence. Definately agree - just go with the flow. You will love the atmosphere at Race for Life, and I really hope you enjoy the day! π
Ooh fingers crossed everything goes well for you Joolie! Keep yourself well hydrated if it is anything like as hot as here. Was 26 degrees already early this morning when I headed out. Maybe plan to run it gently. Really hope your calve trouble clears up completely soon. It is disheartening when things go on so long. So big run, new job, it is all happening for you
