1st week of increasing distance from 10k, on way to 16k+ or 10 miles, felt a little tougher in a couple of km's but overall , not to shabby
Weather wasn't brilliant more like Autumn than spring.
As buzzlightyear says "to infinity and beyond" as that is what it feels like 10 miles ???? That is like travelling to another universe 😊

Congratulations Rob! That's a pretty decent time for 12.1k as well. I'm also thinking of doing this after my 1st ever road race tomorrow ... get that out of the way and then extend distance. It all helps
I look forward to seeing how you get on
Well done again.
John

Well done Rob! keep it up! I have a couple of 10k events in May, after which I am tempted to see how the other side of 10k feels. 😮

When I started out 10 meters was like marathon, I only ever walked to the car, my bad !
Everything is possible Oldfloss 😊

Yippee! I too am working my way from 10k to 10 miles. It's been a long journey but I think I'm only a month or so away (taking it very steady). You're right - it does get you thinking about HM. GOOD LUCK ☺

Hidden in reply to AndyD 8 years ago Hey Andy ☺I don't think I would be the same without the slow.
When I look at the distance on a map, I still think I can't do that !
