Just finished week 5 of the C25K when i sustained a pain in my groin which travels down toward my knee can't put any weight on my leg now, very painful, any idea what might have caused this and how does it need treating

Rest up and it will probably sort itself out. If not you will have to see the doc
I can recall having to walk home after my car broke down. I had a right old way to walk and the pain in my groin by the time I got back was awful. I think it was being unused to such exercise. This was back when I was unfit and a lot heavier. I was ok the following day but it was really painful and I thought I'd done myself a mischief. I hadn't.
See how it goes, and hopefully you'll be ok by tomorrow or the day after.
