Enjoyed first run out with new club, although I started to feel tired and flagged early, especially on the hills, probably due to the previous days efforts and a few aches...

It will be good to stretch yourself a bit. It's only once a week I take it

That looks like a nice mixed group. You are lucky, I'd love to find a day time running club.

Yes, a nice little club right on my doorstep, just started up. It only runs on a Sunday morning at the moment. They say they will be doing a weekday run eventually, and as I'm now retired I'll suggest it be during the daytime if possible. Maybe I can get some other wrinkles out with me! lol

The lady on the far right in the pic has just completed w1 of c25k, but she jogged & walked 5k with us, taking in the odd hill, so she did really well, although she had aching thighs after. So I gave her some tips on stretching, and advised her not to overdo it.

My fault in a way, as she was going to stop and turn back after about 2-3k but I persuaded her to carry on with me. But she's very positive & determined..great to see, but needs to take care in the early days..
